I have contemplated starting a fashion blog for a while now and I’m finally getting around to it!

So… Hello, my name’s Tanya! Welcome to a space that will be filled with everything related to style. I love everything to do with fashion and shoes, no matter the brand – if I like, I buy. I’m lucky enough to live and work in London, even if they are located on different sides of the city!

A few years back I was overwhelmed by my wardrobe and thought enough was enough. I spent time re-establishing my love for fashion and this meant I had to clear out over half of my clothing and shoes. Clothing was easily replaced but shoes have always been hard for me to find as like most women, I suffer from a small bunion and find that I can’t wear many of the styles I had stuffed in my ‘shoedrobe’.

For years I have carried around another pair of shoes with me; inconvenient, I know! one pair (comfortable, durable and unstylish) was for walking from A to B and the other pair being more suitable for my destination (mainly the office). My shoes for work looked the business but I couldn’t wait until the end of the day. when I could take them off!

Like practically every other woman commuting, I just accepted this was the way it was. I always needed a big bag to accommodate lugging an extra pair of shoes around and it was another item to remember in the morning. This is only part of the inconvenience, the second being where to change. On the tub platform? Outside the office? At my desk? Wherever it may be, I felt inelegant.

It was when I discovered shoes from Sole Bliss a year ago that I realised things didn’t have to continue the way they were going. I could wear heels that looked goof enough for meetings, after work drinks or dinner AND were comfortable to walk in. I couldn’t believe it! These heels have served me well and are my favourite high heels in my wardrobe presently!
